The Department of Information and Records Studies (DIRS) is among the three departments at the Sokoine National Agricultural Library (SNAL).

DIRS offers non-degree programmes (Diploma in Information and Library Science, Diploma in Records, Archives and Information Management), undergraduate bachelor degree (Bachelor of Information and Records Management) and doctoral studies in librarianship, information studies/science and records management.
