This collection consists of books published in Tanzania that are mainly acquired through legal deposits as well as books with coverage about Kenya and Uganda.Other Material in this Collection includes the following;

• Government and other Official publications from Government Parastatals and other organizations
• Thesis and Dissertation Submitted to Sokoine University of Agriculture and those of SUA staff submitted to other universities
• Annual Reports of various international organizations mainly those dealing with Agricultural related field
• Various Agricultural Research Reports by SUA staff and other Researchers in Tanzania
• Maps and Atlases.

This Collection is used as open access for all staff and students however it is intended to be used for reference purposes only therefore books in this collection is not for borrowing and can only be used within the library
