Consolatha Angello is a Librarian at Sokoine National Agricultural Library (SNAL) which is also a University Library for Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) She has been employeed at SUA since 2005. Currently she is in the Department of Information and Records Studies at Sokoine National Agricultural Library (SNAL). She holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine degree from SUA; a Masters degree in Information Studies from the University of Dares Salaam; and a PhD in Information Science from the University of Dares Salaam. Her research interests include: Information and Communication Technologies for Development (ICT4D; Information Literacy (IL); Information and Communication Management and Research Methods in Information Science. She has authored over 10 articles in international journals and supervised various students’ Special Projects as well as assessing Field Practical Training. She has been involved in conducting IL training to postgraduate students. She has also been involved as a participant in EEISHEA Project (Enhancing Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Sustainability in Higher Education in Africa).
