Wulystan Pius Mtega holds a Doctoral Degree in Information Science (UNISA, 2017), Masters of Information Studies (UDSM, 2008), BSc. Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness (SUA, 2004) and a Diploma in Education (Klerruu TTC). He is an Associate Professor and was the Head of the former Department of Reference and Community Information Services at Sokoine University of Agriculture, Tanzania. Currently, he is the acting Director of Sokoine National Agricultural Library. He teaches records management, knowledge management and agricultural information and communication management courses at SUA. Prof. Mtega has researched widely in areas of agricultural knowledge systems, social media and mobile learning. He has published several articles and book chapters related to his areas of interest.
